As we pay tribute to Suvash Darnal and honor social justice leaders, we also envision building an interactive knowledge website for everyone committed to social justice. Our goal is to build an online community to help enrich discussions on social justice and serve as a repository of resources.
The Darnal Award website will bring together students, scholars, activists, journalists, artists, government representatives, civil society members, political leaders and others to exchange ideas about social justice. The website will contain articles, research and other publications as well as audio-visual materials. It will highlight new resources, recommend important sources on social justice issues and movements, and inform visitors about relevant news and upcoming events, including lectures, seminars, and conferences. As the underlying objective is to expand debate and encourage action for social justice, the website also features a forum for visitors to express their opinions. Visit the groups forum.
We hope that the Darnal Award website will provide a vibrant space to learn and discuss ways to build a society that upholds the principles of equality and dignity for all castes, ethnicities, religions, genders, and classes.
By recognizing the contributions of committed people, the Award seeks to boost collective efforts to achieve social justice.
Please continue to visit this website and share your ideas and suggestions to help us move closer to our vision of a just and equal society.
